Get answers to common questions about Buttocks.

We recommend eight sessions for the Buttocks using the 1064 YAG Cutera Xeo. Individual results vary; some clients need fewer or additional treatments depending on hair density, growth cycles, and hormonal factors. Sessions spaced 4–8 weeks apart optimize reduction.

Yes. The 1064 nm YAG wavelength used by Cutera Xeo is specifically effective and safer for darker or tanned skin tones, reducing pigment risks. A consultation and test patch ensure appropriate settings and minimize complications.

Most clients feel mild to moderate discomfort described as snapping or heat. Cutera Xeo’s cooling system and topical numbing options significantly reduce pain. We adjust settings to balance comfort and effectiveness during each session.

Downtime is minimal. Expect light redness or swelling for 24–48 hours. Avoid sun exposure, hot baths, and strenuous exercise for a day or two. Proper aftercare speeds healing and reduces irritation or pigmentation.

Shave the area 24 hours before your appointment. Do not wax, pluck, or use hair removal creams for at least four to six weeks prior, as follicles need to be intact for laser targeting.

Laser provides long-term reduction—typically 75–80% after eight sessions—but not guaranteed permanent removal. Hormonal changes can cause regrowth; occasional maintenance sessions may be recommended to sustain smooth results.
